Mamacita Foundation is delighted to host Evening of Creativity, Fun and Laughter, a community event funded by Aberdeen Creative Funding to support mental wellbeing, social connection and community inclusion for people living in Aberdeen. This uplifting event is designed to bring people together through comedy, creativity, music, performance and shared laughter. At a time when many individuals and families are facing stress, isolation and everyday pressures, this event creates a welcoming space where people can relax, connect with others and enjoy an evening of positive entertainment. Laughter is more than entertainment. It can help reduce stress, lift mood, ease loneliness and remind people that they are not alone. Through this event, Mamacita Foundation aims to use creativity and humour as a tool for wellbeing, helping people to "laugh it off" in a safe, friendly and inclusive environment. The evening will also celebrate local talent, culture and community spirit, giving attendees an opportunity to enjoy performances while meeting people from different backgrounds. Mamacita Foundation warmly invites members, volunteers, partners, service users, supporters and friends of the community to our Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Community Open Day. This event is an opportunity to reflect on our work, celebrate our community impact, share key updates, and look ahead to our plans for the coming year. It will also be a chance to meet our team, learn more about our services, and find out how to get involved. Our work continues to support individuals and families through food assistance, youth activities, volunteering, employability support, wellbeing initiatives, digital inclusion and community integration. Mamacita Foundation is delighted to host a special one-off event as part of the Scottish Refugee Festival, bringing people together to celebrate culture, community, belonging and the beauty of diversity. This event will create a warm and welcoming space for refugees, asylum seekers, migrants, families, friends and members of the wider community to come together, share experiences, enjoy different cultures and have a feel of home. Through food, music, conversation, cultural expression and community connection, we aim to celebrate the richness that different communities bring to Aberdeen. The event will also provide an opportunity for people to meet others, reduce isolation, build friendships and feel recognised, valued and included. At Mamacita Foundation, we believe that nobody should feel alone.
